Pench Tiger Reserve, located in Madhya Pradesh and partly in Maharashtra, is one of India’s premier tiger habitats. It is named after the Pench River that flows through the park and supports a rich variety of wildlife including tigers, leopards, and deer. The reserve also inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, making it a place of both ecological and literary significance.
